Archview Lodge is conveniently located in the centre of the historic town of Dalkeith, with easy access to local facilities and public transport. The home is surrounded by woodland with beautiful landscaped gardens, secure and easily accessible for wheelchair users. It is a bright, welcoming purpose-built home providing nursing care for frail older people and for people living with dementia.
Here's how we set out our principles: ‘The aim of the home is to provide the highest possible standard of care. The residents' individuality, dignity, privacy and independence are not compromised because they are elderly, confused or disabled. Our aim is to give residents the best possible quality of life.’
The well designed, purpose-built home is made up of single rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Residents are encouraged to personalise rooms and to redecorate them as they wish.
Barchester’s Memory Lane Communities are specialist environments for people living with dementia, carefully designed and regulated, employing specially trained and supervised staff who are dedicated to maximising enjoyment of life for residents through promoting choice and through offering a range of activities designed to maintain independence.
Links with the local community are preserved for all residents.
Archview Lodge has a lot to offer people with a wide variety of needs. We welcome enquiries and visitors.
