Medd Care Service Ltd is available for everyone in the community who wishes to stay at home and receive safe support and care from our compassionate and experienced carers. We are open to people in the community who need “personal care” due to illness or infirmity. Our service is available for long or short term and cater for service user band such as: • Service users with reablement support needs • Elderly 65 and over • Adult 18 and over • Dementia Care • Physical disability • Befriending and companionship • End of life care. Medd Care Services Ltd will provide a 24hours Service for “personal care” but also other services such as preparing meals, managing medications, providing assistance with bathing, running errands, doing light housekeeping, respite services, overnight care and live-in services. Our service users will be involved in all aspects of their care and treatment. All care packages will be designed with the consent and in collaboration with the service user and /or their legal representatives/families together with other professionals. The service user has the right to access and amend their care plan as necessary. Medd Care Services Ltd will redesign all care provision according to services users ongoing changing needs and will ensure our service users: 1). experience high quality care and support that is right for them 2). are fully involved in all decisions about their care and support 3). have confidence in the people who support and care for them 4). have confidence in the organization providing their care and support. 5. Feel safe in their own homes

Funding for care in Scotland
Your care home costs could be partially funded by the council. To qualify for this, you must first arrange a care needs assessment
- Free personal and/or nursing care funding is available to anyone aged 65 or over, regardless of their financial situation.
- Funding towards accommodation costs is also available if your assets (property & savings) are below £28,500.
