Oakview Lodge Nursing Home provides family-led nursing, residential and dementia care in a quiet area of the beautiful Welwyn Garden City. Situated on the site of the old Queen Elizabeth Hospital, our friendly and compassionate care team delivers outstanding, personalised care to residents with a range of needs. We understand that everyone is different, so we go out of our way to get to know each person individually. Our care plans are designed to foster independence for both our more-able residents and those living with dementia. For those with greater needs, our specialist on-site nurses offer dedicated medical attention to ensure the best quality of life possible in a comfortable and calming environment.

Oakview Lodge has become a well-established part of the local community, welcoming a variety of guests and groups, as well as hosting regular events. This, alongside our activities and well-being programme, ensures that every resident not only receives the highest level of care but enjoys a rich and varied life, where the small things make a big difference. Despite this, the thought of going into care can be daunting for many, so, at Oakview Lodge, we are here to support you in the next chapter of life.
