Conveniently situated in the centre of Fenham near Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Sutherland Court is a welcoming, purpose-built care home with 74 beds offering residential and residential memory care, for those living with dementia.

This lovely home offers several places to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and to be creative, often with lovely views of the outdoors. Many Residents enjoy visiting the popular hairdressing salon, and the pretty, landscaped garden, which is looked after by some of our Residents, is a lovely spot in which to spend time with friends and family. All our stylish, bright and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair. Some rooms have direct access to the garden.

The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home.
