Pine Lodge, located in Kent, provides care for the elderly and people with dementia. In addition to permanent care, respite care is also offered for people suffering from Parkinson's disease. Pine Lodge has been carefully designed to provide a warm, safe and happy environment for our residents.

Pine Lodge, established in 1983, works under a philosophy of care that dictates that all residents shall live in a safe and comfortable environment, where they are treated with respect and equality, irrespective of their needs and backgrounds and in an environment of trust and familiarity.

We believe it’s extremely important to promote independence and understand that all of our residents should be treated as individuals so every person living with us has a plan of care designed around their requirements and preferences, granting them choice in all aspects of their daily routine. We also welcome regular visits from family and friends.

Our dedicated team is there to ensure that our high standard of care is maintained, and an independent quality assurance system is in place.

From the manager

“Hi, my name is Tina Parisi! I started in care in 1994 when I applied for a job as a carer in the community. This is where my love of helping and supporting the elderly started. Due to the company closing, I then applied for another company that also done community care and was lucky enough to meet the manager of the company that asked me if I would be interested in working in the office as a co-ordinator, which I accepted. Working in that position taught me a great deal and led me to working my way up the ladder. After 2 years, I had become the deputy manager and then, after completing my level 5 NVQ became manager. Having contributed 12 years in this position, I wanted to go back to a resident facing role and took a job in a care home for the first time as a senior care lead. Here I am now, the registered manager of Pine Lodge and very happy in the role I have been entrusted with and intend to execute my duties to the best of my experience, knowledge and abilities. Outside of work, I have an active time with my dog, (Cocker Spaniel) that I am sure has batteries that do not run out as he is always on the go. I enjoy cooking for family and friends and like nothing more than watching a good thriller or a chick flick. I also like to read when I have the time and enjoy anything that is easy reading. My vision for Pine Lodge is for it to be the best home it can possibly be, and all our residents and staff to be happy, well looked after and enjoy being in here.”
