Overbury House is situated just a few hundred yards from the beautiful Norfolk Broads in Wroxham. This period building is flooded with light from the large bay windows and sits in its own landscaped grounds with ornamental shrubs and mature trees. Reception rooms are spacious and have been decorated in keeping with the building’s architectural style and exude warmth and elegance. The property has been sympathetically and tastefully extended to offer modern accommodation.

Overbury House offers dedicated nursing and residential care for those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or similar problems. A homely and warm atmosphere where individuals are well cared for and comfortable is provided. Accommodation is offered in single or double bedrooms that are tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. Most rooms are en-suite and some contain televisions, tea making facilities and a telephone point. Residents are encouraged to bring items of furniture and personal possessions with them so that their room can be a place that reminds them of home.

Care staff are trained to the highest standards and chosen not only for their skills, but also for their warmth, friendliness and caring attitude. Staff are available constantly and provide professional care that respects the rights and dignity of the individual.

Residents are assessed on a regular basis to ascertain that
their needs are being met. Appointments can be arranaged with a visiting optician, dentist, and chiropodist. The home has an in-house hairdressing salon that provides all the usual services plus manicures and hand massages. Catering staff provide delicious meals and snacks throughout the day, and special diets can be catered for.
