Our home is a former country manor house in a stunning position on the Fosse Way on the outskirts of Cirencester. The home is accessible from the M5 and M4. Our residents can enjoy the local amenities of Cirencester and the surrounding Cotswolds countryside.
We are proud to be one of the first homes to be accredited as part of Barchester’s 10-60-06 Dementia Care programme, reflecting the enhanced quality of dementia care and improved quality of life experienced by residents here at Hunters.
We provide a range of accommodation and services from independent living to 24-hour nursing care.
All our independent living properties are self-contained but residents have the option of taking advantage of the additional care and support services available in the main home, including meals and participation in activities, for example.
Assisted Living can be tailored to your needs and preferences - Hunters supports an independent, socially active lifestyle, with the added reassurance that care is close at hand should you need it.
Hunters have been approved by the Cinammon Trust, the national charity for the elderly, those terminally ill and their pets. This means we have been acknowledged by this charity as a pet-friendly home. Hunters will continue to promote this link as well as their ongoing visits from their local Pets As Therapy dog, the Zoo lab and Walks with Hawkes, all of which their residents thoroughly enjoy and get a huge amount of satisfaction from.
The best way to learn about the home is to call in for a visit - you will be welcome.
Care, activities, facilities and food are all major focuses at our home. It is important that each of these services are tailored to the individual needs and preferences of residents, which is why we employ a wonderful team of professionals who can deliver support using a warm and person-centred approach.
