Our purpose-built nursing home is located on the Hutton Poplars, towards the outskirts of Brentwood. Shenfield High Street is within walking distance. It has a numbers of shops and eateries and also the mainline train station. We are lucky enough to be in a lovely quiet area backing onto woodlands. The site where our home is located was originally a Dr Barnardos children’s home, built in 1906. A small area of the children’s home has been preserved in its original form and can be seen as you drive onto the estate.

We have a long-standing and dedicated team who strive to provide the best quality care for residents, including respite care. Our registered nurses are at the home twenty four hours a day to ensure the development of a tailor-made care plan for every individual’s needs.

Our Memory Lane Community is dedicated to dementia care, enabling every resident to thrive in an environment designed to stimulate and enrich their lives whilst giving families peace of mind and security. Our person-centred team is experienced in responding to the challenges that dementia presents, at whichever stage of the journey. The Community is located on the ground floor and benefits from a beautiful and easily accessible courtyard garden.

We are always happy to meet with you and offer a guided tour of our facilities and grounds. Why not drop in for a cup of coffee and see for yourself?

Care, activities, facilities and food are all major focuses at our home. It is important that each of these services are tailored to the individual needs and preferences of residents, which is why we employ a wonderful team of professionals who can deliver support using a warm and person-centred approach.
