The committed team at Oulton Park prides itself on ensuring that each resident receives
tailored care which is regularly reviewed and adapted as an individuals’ care needs change.
All staff are carefully chosen and extensively qualified to maintain the highest standards of
Nursing Care. Personal interests are actively encouraged and there is much to enjoy in
Oulton Park’s relaxed and homely atmosphere.
Oulton Park also has a dedicated Memory Lane Communtiy that provides a safe, homely
environment for people living with Dementia. Memory Lane incorporates bespoke design in
its use of colour and cues to help individuals navigate through the home, whilst thoughtful
interior design features, such us adapted crockery and tableware assists with reminiscence.
Residents living with Dementia are offered a range of activities to help preserve life skills,
support interactions, increase self-esteem and retain a sense of purpose and selfhood.
Providing fresh home cooked food and life enrichment plays a strong part in the well-being of
the residents at Oulton Park. Whether it is art, gardening or live music - activities are
undertaken to ensure a resident continues to engage and enjoy themselves through
meaningful activities. The home’s quiet garden and courtyard also offer the opportunity to
escape and enjoy a quiet drink with a loved one.
Visitors are always welcome at Oulton Park for a cup of tea and a chat about the care
provided at this beautiful home - conveniently located close to the delightful beach of
Lowestoft and at the heart of the Broads.
Directions: Upon travelling from the A47 via Gorleston Road and onto the B1375 towards
Oulton Broad you will pass Park Hill Hotel on your left. (Union Lane will then be the next turn
on the right). Turn right onto Union Lane and follow the road all of the way round for about
quarter of a mile until Union Lane veers right into Allington Smith Close. You will see our
sign and arrive at Oulton Park Care Centre.
Should you be travelling out of Oulton Broad along the B1375 (Oulton Street) you will pass
the Blue Boar Pub on your left. (Union Lane is the next turn on your left after the Pub).Turn
onto Union Lane and please follow the directions highlighted above.
*There are signs for Oulton Park Care Centre either side of the entrance to Union Lane.
