Newlands Care Centre provides a diverse and person-centred care approach. We have a highly skilled mix of nursing and care staff who are all part of the Newlands family. We maintain relationships with members of the Mutli Disciplinary Teams within the community to ensure that residents within our care are supported to the highest standard within our general nursing, memory lane and specialist support units, including the Parkinson's Society, Alzheimer's Society and local schools.

Our purpose-built centre benefits from a high standard of décor, landscaped gardens and the most modern facilities to welcome residents, relatives and friends. All rooms have en-suite facilities. 24-hour nursing care is offered to older people in need of support, including people living with dementia and people with mental health issues.

In its central location in Workington, Newlands has the best of both worlds: there are plenty of local amenities yet it is within easy reach of the beautiful Lake District and the scenic Solway Coast.

We also have the Lakelands Unit here at Newlands, which is our complex care unit.

Why not arrange a visit, or call in for a cup of tea or coffee and see us at for yourself.
