Red Oaks is a purpose-built nursing home which caters for the needs of ladies and gentlemen who require either nursing care or are living with dementia. Red Oaks enjoys an enviable location, only a short distance from the centre of the tranquil village of Henfield, and set in amidst a rather splendid 3.5 acres of formal gardens. We also have a number of assisted living apartments available at Red Oaks situated within Rayner Court, please click here for more information.

Our dedicated and experienced team are passionate about providing quality 24-hour nursing and dementia care that affords the best possible alternative for those who are no longer able to manage at home. Our approach to nursing care is based on the use of personalised care plans. Drawn up with the individuals we support and their families our care plans will help ensure that each person we look after is treated with respect and that their independence and choice are maximised.

We believe in making a difference to the lives of people living here with us and ensure that we provide a lifestyle full of choice and activity that is centred around each lady and gentleman. This includes a whole host of varied activities together with regular trips out around the region taking full advantage of the home’s min-bus. The expertise of our caring team is to recognise and enable each resident to continue to do the things they enjoy for as long as they can continue to do so.

Finished and furnished to an extremely high standard offering a homely yet first class spacious environment. Red Oaks is proud of its beautifully maintained and nurtured award-winning gardens which both residents and visitors to the home can enjoy all year around. Our team of chefs are passionate about producing nutritious meals which are appetising and varied. How does braised leg of lamb in a mint & rosemary jus with garlic mash and roasted root vegetables sound? That’s currently one of our most popular dishes! Our dining rooms enjoy unrivalled views across the homes beautiful grounds.

Choosing a care home for yourself or a loved one can prove to be such a daunting and confusing time. So please don't hesitate to contact us for any further information you feel you may need at this stage. Alternatively – why not pop in for a cup of tea and a chat? Sometimes talking things through makes tougher decisions a little easier.

Life at our home is composed of many key elements, not least of all, a dedicated team who strive to deliver high quality care, exciting activities and delicious food for the individuals we support. These services are enhanced by our excellent facilities, which serve to make residents’ time here as comfortable as possible.
