Nursing Care at its best, situated between York and Scarborough in beautiful North Yorkshire, Rivermead offers a high level of 24-hour nursing care and provides specialist nursing care for those with illnesses such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. Our Memory Lane Community is a dedicated nursing dementia facility .
Rivermead is situated in Norton, a small town near Malton. The home is purpose-built on one level, is light and airy and is set back off the main road with a sunny paved seating area to the front of the home. With stunning views to the rear, our specialised Memory Lane Community boasts two lovely secure gardens.
Throughout the home our team of highly qualified and attentive staff focus on the individual needs of our residents, with a tailored care plan developed for each person. This dedication can be seen across the whole team, from our kitchen staff with their cooking and hospitality, to the organisation of fantastic activities and events for our residents and relatives.
We have a very loyal staff team at Rivermead with many of our team having over 10 years service. We recently also had staff nominated as finalists in the Yorkshire and Humber Care Awards in the categories of Care Newcomer and Care Innovator.
