Overlooking the River Severn yet only half a mile from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, The Mount House provides a wonderful warm and homely setting for older people requiring residential support and for those requiring dementia or nursing care. From the moment you enter The Mount House you will feel the warmth that characterises our experienced team of carers and nurses and be comforted by a genuine family atmosphere.

Whether you are looking into care options for yourself or a loved one you can be sure that we can meet your every need with tailored care plans, developed for each of our residents following an in-depth pre-admission assessment. We like to do what we do well. Our residents enjoy nutritious and delicious home cooked meals freshly prepared every day, using locally sourced ingredients. Our lively social and activities programme ensures that this is a vibrant place to live.

All of the bedrooms at The Mount House have en-suite facilities affording comfort and privacy, and many boast views of the garden or the West Midland show ground. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and personalise their room to make it their own. Our maintenance team are more than happy to help with hanging your favourite pictures on the walls!
