Situated on the edge of the picturesque Yorkshire Dales near the market town of Knaresborough and the spa town of Harrogate, Thistle Hill Care Centre offers a friendly welcome to all, a true 'home-from-home'. We aim to improve the quality of life for each and every resident living here with us by providing care in a safe and comfortable environment.
Our dedicated and experienced team is passionate about providing high quality 24-hour nursing care alongside expert care for people with dementia in our Memory Lane Community. We also provide skilled care for younger people with a physical disability or acquired brain injury, and have close links with the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Our team of highly qualified staff focus on the individual needs of all our residents with a tailored care plan for each person. This dedication can be seen in all aspects of life within the home - in our cooking, hospitality and our social activity, events and visits programme which is designed to meet the needs and particular interests of all those who live with us at Thistle Hill. With the towns of Knaresborough and Harrogate nearby there are plenty of local amenities and visiting friends and family are welcomed at all times. Why not call in or arrange a visit to see all that we have to offer?
We can then learn more about your particular needs and how we may be able to help you - whether now or in the future. Looking for care can be such a daunting process - we are keen to provide you with the help and support you will need to guide you through this process. We hope to see you soon!
Ensuring that we deliver high quality care to those we support isn’t our only priority here – we also want to offer excitement and, most importantly, to ensure that everyone feels at home. That is why we employ trained staff who are committed to delivering a stimulating activities programme and nutritious cuisine, which are supplemented by services and facilities that are designed to make life here as pleasant as possible.
