Welcome to Colonia Court Care Home in Colchester.
Situated in a pleasant, leafy suburb, Colonia Court is focused on helping people feel at home. The friendly community is split into five houses, each offering different types of nursing, residential and dementia care to anyone over the age of 18, including one house specifically for residents living with Huntington’s.
The home is situated in the oldest recorded Roman city in England, close to local pieces of history like Colchester Castle and St Botolph’s Priory. There’s lots of shops nearby and Clacton-on-Sea is just a 30-minute drive away.
The care is individual to each resident, understanding not only their physical needs but their emotional and social ones too. Colonia Court encourages residents to continue to enjoy their daily lives in dignity and privacy in the care and comfort of relaxing surroundings. Each resident has their own key carer, who will take time to get to know them, their background, interests, tastes and care needs in line with their unique personal care plan.
