Welcome to The Donnington Care Home in Newbury

Built in Victorian times, The Donnington has been carefully extended and converted into a fully modernised care home equipped to meet all our residents' needs. We are surrounded by glorious landscaped grounds with raised flowerbeds and a tranquil sensory garden – great for entertaining visitors.

Our care assistants and registered nurses tailor the care they provide to each person, taking time to understand their preferences and needs. Our focus is on dignity, respect and quality of life. We aim to provide support around the clock while at the same time allowing our residents as much independence as possible.
