Welcome to Beach Lawns Residential and Nursing Home in Somerset. The coastal location of Beach Lawns provides beautiful views across the sea from the front lounge, dining area and many of the ground floor and first floor bedrooms.

Our sun terrace is an ideal spot for residents to relax. It also gets pretty busy during the Weston-super-Mare Air Festival, where our residents get the best seat in the house as the Red Arrows fly directly over the home.

Beach Lawn offers residential care, nursing care and dementia care across 4 dedicated suites. You may also stay in the home for a shorter period of pre-booked respite care.

The interior has been recently refurbished, while maintaining the home's character. This includes large bay windows around the home, stained glass windows and our feature staircase.

Our team goes above and beyond to help residents live life to the fullest.

69 year old resident, Adele Steen, was fascinated by the sky. However, she was wheelchair bound after contracting polio at a young age. The team at Beach Lawns organised a chartered helicopter flight for Adele from The Helicopter Museum. Staff, residents and family watched on as Adele was flown directly over Beach Lawns.

Another resident told the team how he wanted to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for Comic Relief. Unfortunately, due to his mobility this wasn’t possible. But, that didn’t stop him. With support from the team, the resident organised a sponsored walk around the home and adjoining park. Staff and other residents got involved, raising £500 for charity!

Residents are given the support they need to continue with their favourite pastimes. For one of our male residents, this is flying kites. He can be spotted in the garden flying his kite from his wheelchair every day.

Our spacious garden has multiple areas to explore. The garden in our residential care suite is home to a classic Morris Minor, painted by our residents. A great focal point of the garden which extends down to Clarence Park. With direct access to the park, this is a great spot for residents to spend time with their loved ones whenever they like.

Memory Lane, our Dementia care suite, has a secure and secluded garden. It features accessible paths, colorful flora, plenty of seating and a water fountain, making it the ideal place for residents to relax and enjoy the sounds and smells of nature.
