Set in the idyllic village of Widford, we are proud to offer exceptional accommodation, engaging activities and a beautiful picturesque outdoor garden – all to a very high standard. The home provides person-centred care like no other in the area. The historic converted manor house has a capacity of 32, split between 30 single rooms and 1 double. 13 of our bedrooms have ensuites.
All rooms are generously proportioned and larger than most purpose-built homes in the area. All rooms come furnished, but we encourage residents to bring a few special pieces of their own; we have found this helps with settling in.
The activities team plans and provides trips to local sites, visiting speakers & musicians, 1-1 sessions and various other activities which have all been chosen by the residents and are designed to benefit all aspects of our residents' welfare.
Ashview has outstanding facilities and is focused on providing person-centred care. The loving staff ensures residents' safety while being committed to allowing them as much independence as possible.
Residents range from those who are relatively self-sufficient to others who require more complex care. The team works together with residents and their loved ones to create a care plan that is as individual as those they care for. Ashview believes what sets their staff apart from other homes is the commitment & dedication to ensuring the dignity of all their residents, encouraging independence, involving family & friends and engaging daily with all on a human level.
