From the manager

“I joined Care UK in 2018 as a Registration Nurse from the Bahamas. Since then I’ve worked hard to climb the ladder to Senior Registered General Nurse, Clinical Lead and now Home Manager. A little while ago I even won Care UK’s ‘Nurse of the Year’ award, which was a highlight! Care UK is a great place to work: as well as being a leading care provider, the support it gives to its teams is exceptional. I’ve been supported to learn and progress and do as much training as possible, and I aim to empower my team in the same way, so they can do their best work. I’m entirely dedicated to the residents’ wellbeing and ensuring they receive the highest quality care. Even the smallest actions can make a huge difference to a person and make them feel special and cared for. I always look forward to any opportunities I have during the day to chat to the residents and my colleagues here at Farm Lane.”
