Tunbridge Wells Care Centre is a care home situated in a pleasant residential area of Royal Tunbridge Wells. It offers exceptional nursing care and all the facilities required to provide maximum comfort for all residents.
First impressions are important and, when residents enter the chandelier-lit reception area with its airy double-height atrium, they get a strong sense of the quality of the accommodation and lifestyle they will enjoy here. And a warm welcome from the receptionist is typical of the homely environment residents and their families can expect when they join the 'family'.
It is the culture of kindness, respect and consideration that sets Tunbridge Wells Care Centre apart, and staff aim to make residents feel completely comfortable and at home, whatever level of care is needed.
Tunbridge Wells Care Centre offers accommodation for 70 residents in bright, spacious and well-furnished rooms with en-suite facilities. There is also plenty of access (and space) for a wheelchair if required. Accommodation is spread over three floors, with nursing and early dementia care on the ground floor, a specialist unit for residents with more advanced dementia on the first floor, with nursing and palliative care on the top floor.
Nursing and care staff are on hand 24/7, and the domestic team supports them with daily cleaning, laundry and housekeeping services.
The communal areas are designed to provide relaxed and intimate spaces where residents can socialise with guests or other residents, and bigger areas where activities take place.
The large, landscaped garden has been carefully designed to be wheelchair accessible and, on fine days, it's the perfect place for a cup of tea and some freshly baked pastries.
