At Station House you can expect a warm welcome as soon as you step through the door of the modern care home in the leafy residential area of Crewe in Cheshire. The dedicated team provides respite and permanent nursing care, including those living with dementia.

The home has been specially designed to meet the needs of older people. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with views of the grounds – some even have doors that open directly onto the gardens.

There are comfortable lounges throughout Station House, as well as a café and hair and beauty salon. Alongside the courtyards, there’s a very large garden with lawns, water features, a gazebo, pergola and seating areas. The home even has room for its our own nine-hole mini golf course!

From the manager

“I’ve been a home manager since 2007 and have achieved my Level 4 leadership and management qualification as well as leadership in dementia accredited by Worcester University. I worked for another large organisation previously, and I liked the structure and support that I received. I felt that Care UK was a perfect fit for me, and I really took on board the Care UK visions and values. I believe it’s important for a Home Manager to be patient, kind, and have good communication skills. You need to work with the team to provide the best possible care for residents within the home and improve the team’s skills to provide a pathway for progression. I love spending time with residents, and I feel proud when I see they are happy and well cared for. The most important part of my role is to ensure that residents are safe and well cared for and that the home is maintaining quality in line with CQC regulations. I enjoy mentoring colleagues and supporting them to succeed in their careers. All the Team Leaders at Station House have progressed from being a carer, and I enjoy seeing them grow and develop. I feel happy when I see that the team is ahppy and working together as a team. I also feel proud when the home has positive feedback from residents, relatives and visiting professionals.”
