This elegant and listed 40-room home in a quiet residential area of West London has been carefully refurbished and converted into delightful accommodation while retaining some original features.
It is a relaxed and comfortable environment while the gated grounds provide security and reassurance to residents and their relatives. The bedrooms are spread over three floors. Most are single but, unusually, there are also a few double rooms - ideal for couples who both need to move into care and want to stay together.
Rooms vary in size and shape depending on where they are in the house, and each has its own character. Residents are encouraged to personalise their room with pictures, family photographs, mementos and, perhaps, some favourite items of furniture.
Each room is equipped with an en-suite toilet and washroom as well as free wifi, flat-screen TV and a nurse-call system. They are also well-ventilated with controllable under-floor heating so that the temperature is just right for the resident.
Nursing and care staff are available 24/7 on each floor, supported by dedicated teams of kitchen, activities, facilities and housekeeping staff.
The spacious lounge and dining areas are also comfortably furnished and equipped with TVs, games and books. There are seating areas around the building, enabling residents to choose to join in the social atmosphere or find a favourite spot for some quiet time.
There are even hens in the garden for residents to help look after and enjoy some therapeutic time!
