Mayflower Care Home is a bright and spacious nursing home in a pleasant area of Gravesend, surrounded by a landscaped and wheelchair-accessible garden.

The home offers long-term nursing and residential care for elderly people in a relaxed and peaceful environment.

There are 76 spacious and comfortably furnished en-suite bedrooms spread over three floors. Each room is equipped with TV, a nurse call system and an adjustable automatic bed with a control handset to ensure comfort.

Residents are also encouraged to personalise their room with pictures, family photographs and ornaments of their choice. There is also plenty of access (and space) for wheelchairs if required. Free wifi is available throughout the home.

There is lift access to all floors, and all are wheelchair accessible. Each floor has its own dining room and lounge where residents can gather for meals, group activities or socialise. As a homely and relaxed feel is important, the lounge can also be arranged to accommodate residents who prefer a quiet space at times.

Each floor has its own team of nursing and care staff who are on hand 24/7. The key worker system means that residents will always have a friendly and familiar face.

The nursing care residents are mostly on the ground floor, where those who are more mobile can get around easily from their own room between the dining room and lounge. On the second and third floors, there are secure facilities for residents with dementia, including specialist care for those who are experiencing severe symptoms and find day-to-day life particularly challenging.

The landscaped garden and patio at Mayflower have been carefully designed to be fully wheelchair accessible. They also offer plenty of inviting places for residents and guests to sit and enjoy pleasant weather.
