From the manager

“I have been passionate about providing excellent care throughout my career. I joined Care UK as I wanted to work with a company that shared my belief in providing excellent care for residents and share my passion of person-centred care. As a Home Manager, I believe I must be organised, calm, empathetic and patient to provide the best care to residents. By having these traits, it has helped me to build great relationships with residents which is often my favourite part of my job. I enjoy getting to know residents and learning about their hobbies and their interesting lives before joining us at Oat Hill Mews. One of my biggest achievements in my career is my BSc in Nursing that led me to working as a Nurse. I then moved on to home management within a few years as I loved watching staff develop and provide the residents with the best care. One of my biggest achievements throughout my career was developing my team to provide the best care which was rewarded with an improvement in our CQC score.”
