for persons who require nursing or personal care, and accommodation for
persons who require treatment for substance misuse.
Our provision entails residential accommodation that comes with personal
care as a single package, allowing our service users to enjoy a seamless
blend of comfort, support, and care. This means that the individual client can
choose to receive personal care from another provider while they are living in
the accommodation. Whether the accommodation and care are provided by
us or another specified provider, we ensure clear contractual obligations
indicate who is responsible for the care delivery.
For those who need nursing care while residing in our accommodation, we
provide staff who can effectively administer care tasks delegated by a listed
healthcare professional. In addition, we've made provisions for further
applications for other regulated activities where needed. For example, if our
care homes employ registered nurses or other listed professionals who carry
on regulated activities, we fulfil the requirements for the Treatment of disease,
disorder, or injury.
In the context of substance misuse treatment accommodation, we offer
residential settings bundled with recognised treatment interventions, such as
managed withdrawal or detoxification, and structured psychosocial treatment
programmes. This covers not only hospital-like accommodation but also the
opportunity for treatment to be delivered off-site in a community setting.
We acknowledge that our service user groups are diverse and include
individuals with dementia, mental health problems, physical disabilities,
sensory impairments, substance misuse problems, and eating disorders. Our
services cater to adults aged 18-65, and older adults over 65, and we adapt
