From the manager

“I was delighted to join Care UK, as I felt at home with the values the company represents. I liked that Care UK offered clear, meaningful values, focused on what truly matters. I also really enjoyed how welcoming and homely Tennyson Grange felt. Additionally, I admire the strong support Care UK provides for dementia care, which shows real dedication to residents and their families. I believe every Home Manager brings something unique to the role, shaped by their background, experience, and the passion they have for care. To be successful, you need strong people skills and a genuine desire to understand how best to support others. A great Home Manager leads with passion, empathy, and a deep understanding of both the team and residents. It’s also important to be reflective and open-minded, as this allows you to adapt, grow, and enable positive change within the home. I am proud to work in care because it’s a role not everyone can do. It takes compassion, patience, and dedication, and I value the privilege of making a difference every day. I love that this job allows me to work with a wide range of people, and it’s the residents who truly make what I do so special.”
