Nursing and residential care

Our residential care home provides high-quality nursing and residential care in a warm, homely and friendly environment. Our team of qualified and dedicated staff focus on the individual needs of residents and are committed to providing professional and respectful care with the resident at the heart of everything they do.

Dementia care

The home has a dedicated area which we call our Memory Lane Community. It provides first-class care for people with dementia. Within our community, memory boxes with small reminders and items such as photographs are used to help each person reminisce. Features such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low-risk walkways and activity kitchens also enable people to engage in life's everyday simple tasks and pleasures.

Our first-class facilities combined with our highly trained staff ensures each and every individual is given superior attention. Our 24-hour care is provided in a warm, welcoming environment, with delicious meals and varying daily activities, including a choice of therapeutic approaches. Together with our lively social calendar, this helps to stimulate people’s minds, and empower them to approach their future in a positive way.

Life at Woodland View Care Home

Ensuring that we deliver high quality care to those we support isn’t our only priority here – we also want to offer excitement and, most importantly, to ensure that everyone feels at home. That is why we employ trained staff who are committed to delivering a stimulating activities programme and nutritious cuisine, which are supplemented by services and facilities that are designed to make life here as pleasant as possible.
