Blandford Grange care home is a modern, purpose-built care home, tastefully decorated, providing a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. Blandford Grange specialises in both nursing and dementia care, designed to suit modern care practice as well as a comfortable living environment where residents can feel safe and remain as active as they wish. People living at Blandford Grange can also receive residential care and support with or without nursing depending on their individually assessed needs and to promote and encourage independence.
The team, supervised by an experienced Manager, operate a 24-hour service ensuring that the care delivered encompasses social, physical, psychological and environmental needs. All nurses and care assistants are carefully chosen for their professional abilities and people skills, with the home's commitment being to suit the needs of the individual. Quality assured procedures make sure that services are regularly assessed.
In addition to the facilities at Blandford Grange, a COVID safe visiting pod was installed, in order to keep residents safely with their loved ones. The temporary garden cabin-style structure is equipped with two entrance points, a Perspex screen to separate visitors from residents and an intercom to make communicating easy. The room is also equipped with heating, insulation, fire safety measures and nurse call buttons.
