Situated close to many historical sites and local beaches, Scarbrough Court is a state of the art Home located in Cramlington, North East England. We provide residential care, nursing and dementia support for up to 58 residents.

We want you to feel right at home with us. Here at Scarbrough Court, you will have a spacious, fully furnished bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a specialist team to support your care needs.

Scarbrough Court can support up to 37 people in the residential and dementia areas of the Home. It is split into two smaller areas; the residential area supports up to 18 residents and the dementia area can support up to 19 residents. The staff work across both areas and consists of five to six experienced carers and one Shift Leader in the morning and afternoon. During the night, there are three carers, supported by a Shift Leader.

Our nursing area can support up to 21 people and is managed by a Registered Nurse, who leads a team of five to six care staff during the day and two to three carers at night. The nursing area has the support and experience of a Clinical Lead Nurse.

Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care and we have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms.

We have two dedicated Activities Coordinators who organise a variety of activities as well as trips outside of the Home, to support our residents’ health and wellbeing.

From the manager

“Here at Scarbrough Court, we are dedicated and committed to the care of our residents resulting in the high standard of care of which we can take pride in. With our person centred care approach, our residents are able to personalise their rooms and make it their home.”
