Originally built in the 1840s, Zetland Court is set amongst landscape gardens, a short walk from the beach in Bournemouth. We provide residential care, nursing and dementia support for up to 71 residents.
We want you to feel right at home with us. Here at Zetland Court, you will have a spacious, fully furnished bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a specialist team to support your care needs.
Zetland Court can support up to 39 people in the residential area of our Home and we have seven experienced carers during the day and four carers at night, who are supervised by a Shift Leader.
In our Dementia Support House, we can care for up to 18 people with six carers on duty during the day and two carers at night with the Shift Leader supporting the night time.
Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care. The Deputy Manager is also our Clinical Lead Nurse who supports the team in providing safe and effective care to our residents.
We have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms and each person has a personal alarm to carry, so they can call for assistance when they are around the Home or out and about.
We have two dedicated Activities Coordinators who organise a variety of activities as well as trips outside of the Home, to support our residents’ health and wellbeing.
From the manager
“We provide an array of care support for a diverse group of people. Our care is relationship based; we encourage a sense of community and we believe in having fun. By providing the right support, our residents are able to maintain their life choices, hopes and dreams, to support them in and through their life journey.”
