Collingwood Court is a modern, purpose-built care home providing personalised residential and respite care for older people, including those who are living with dementia. The friendly and welcoming team works hard to ensure that Collingwood Court feels like a comfortable home-from-home where residents can relax and enjoy doing the things they love.

Residents’ bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with en-suite facilities and stylish furniture. Some of the rooms on our ground floor even open onto the lovely established gardens.

The Lifestyle team organises a wide range of activities, outings and entertainment, and your loved one is welcome to do light tasks around the home if it helps them to feel a sense of purpose and independence.

From the manager

“I’m an experienced Nurse and Home Manager and I’m passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for the people we care for. I believe that great care is about going beyond what is expected to make the difference to residents’ lives. I also think it’s important to take a caring approach to colleagues, supporting them to do their best work and to fulfil their potential in the workplace. It’s our people who make all the difference and help us to deliver superb care, so if they’re happy, our residents are too. I’m very proud of Collingwood Court’s strong links with the local community and I’m always keen to enhance these so that residents can continue to feel a part of local life and enjoy a lovely lifestyle. One of my favourite parts of the day is chatting to residents and listening to their life stories. There’s so much we can learn from the older generation. I have an open-door policy, so if there’s anything you’d like to know about Colingwood Court and the care we provide, please do get in touch.”
