Northview Lodge is a modern, purpose built care home with 45 beds that offers specialist care to adults experiencing enduring mental health issues and to adults experiencing cognitive impairment as the result of a physical event.
Situated in the residential area of Castletown on the outskirts of Sunderland, the home is only 5 minutes from the A19 and provides speedy links to Darlington, Teesside, Newcastle and Tyneside as well as to the Sunderland area.
Northview Lodge Care Home offers modern, purpose-built living accommodation, provided over 2 floors and has been imaginatively designed to provide a variety of contemporary daily living and social spaces that promote activity and independence.
Over the two floors there is a variety of daily living spaces available including three dining areas and four sitting rooms which feature a flat screen TV. Residents can also take advantage of a custom-designed skills kitchen which provides an opportunity for them to maintain or learn new skills. Other leisure facilities include a Coffee Bar and a visiting hairdresser.
Our Home Manager leads a highly skilled and experienced team who aim to provide the kindest possible care to the individuals we support. Our professional Nurses are supported by our dedicated care team to deliver carefully tailored 24-hour care, supervision and support to adults with wide ranging physical disabilities, developmental and mental health needs.
Northview Lodge prides itself in planning and delivering specialist nursing care and our team have undergone training to support people with complex needs who require ongoing treatment and support.
