Oakland is situated in an attractive residential area just outside Rochdale in Lancashire. This purpose-built, 40 bed care home offers residential and residential memory care, for those living with dementia.

This small, friendly home offers the choice of three sitting rooms, two dining areas and a sunny conservatory, all furnished for maximum comfort. In addition, there is a popular hairdressing salon. Outside, the pretty garden, cared for by some of our Residents, is a favourite location in which to relax or socialise with friends and family. All bright and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair.

The home’s caring team has created a lovely family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat together, and to celebrate and plan special occasions with one another. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support Residents’ mind, body and soul.
