Located in the peaceful residential area of Ferryhill in County Durham, Tenlands is a lovely, purpose-built care home with 40 beds offering residential and nursing care.
This friendly home offers the choice of several sitting rooms and dining areas, all of which are tastefully decorated and furnished for maximum comfort. The enclosed garden with pretty patio, tended by some of our Residents, is a popular place to relax or spend time with family and friends. In addition, there is a room designated for hobbies and interests, a hairdressing salon and sunny conservatory that allows Residents to enjoy the garden all year around. All bright and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair.
The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is carefully designed to support the mind, body and soul.
