From the manager
“I am pleased to introduce myself as the new Home Manager at Nelson Lodge care home. I have worked in both the charity and care sectors for over 30 years. My experience includes 15 years with MENCAP, as a Registered Home Manager. I then joined Leonard Cheshire as a Quality Manager. I love the care sector and I am very passionate about care and its delivery. I have lived in St Neots for over 20 years, and I see strengthening the relationships Nelson Lodge has with their local community as a vital part of my new role. I’m keen to support our resident’s connections with our local community. I’m passionate about introducing students and young people into the care profession, where I started a programme for Health and Social Care undergraduates at a local college. In my spare time, I enjoy touring the UK with my much-loved caravan and spending time with my family and my gorgeous Granddaughter. I have received a wonderfully warm welcome from Anchor and the team at Nelson Lodge. I am looking forward to being able to deliver best outcomes for all at Nelson Lodge, from residents to colleagues, families and loved ones, as well as the local community and very much to meeting you all soon. ”
