Conveniently situated in the centre of Low Fell, near historic Gateshead, Springfield House is a friendly, purpose-built care home with 69 beds offering residential and residential memory care, for those living with dementia.

This lovely home offers several places to relax, socialise and enjoy meals, often with lovely views of the pretty, landscaped garden, which is looked after by some of our Residents. Springfield House’s tea room and restaurant are ideal spots for Residents to enjoy a meal with friends and family. Local shops and amenities are close by.

All our stylish, bright and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair. Some rooms have direct access onto the gardens. We also offer a number of self-contained suites which are very popular with couples.

The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life at Springfield House is thoughtfully designed to support mind, body and soul.

Springfield House’s Home Manager will make sure that every single Resident receives the kindest possible care.
