Our purpose-built care is located in the calm village of Pelton, close to Chester-le-Street. There are excellent transport links into town, and the home is within walking distance of local amenities.
Our well-established team are friendly and trained to deliver the best possible care to our residents. Staff members provide the highest standard of residential and dementia care. Before arrival at Pelton Grange, we carry out an individual assessment, this helps us to get to know a person’s needs and preferences. After admission we create a care plan that reflects the individual.
Pelton Grange Care Home has 43 tastefully decorated bedrooms. We encourage our residents to bring their own furniture, photographs and items that are familiar to them. All rooms have TV aerial sockets, Wifi and wheelchair access. They each have nurse call systems for the safety and wellbeing of all our residents.
We have attractive dining rooms on both the ground and first floors. We serve a wide choice of delicious home cooked meals and there is always something to suit everyone’s tastes. Meals are prepared by the team in our 5-Star kitchen. Residents can also choose to eat in the comfort of their own room staff. Family members and friends are always welcome to join their loved ones over a meal. Let us know and we’ll also cater for parties and birthdays. Residents can also enjoy snacks, fruit and refreshments around the clock too.
