Surrounded by extensive lawns and old growth trees our purpose-built care home is located in a quiet residential area in Lemington near Newcastle. It has very good transport links into Newcastle, and to the Metro Centre; and is within walking distance of local amenities.

Providing the highest possible standard of residential, nursing and dementia care, our well-established team are friendly and trained to deliver the best possible care. Before a person takes up residence we meet and do an individual assessment. Once in our home we create an individualised care plan that enables us to get to know our residents, their needs, likes and dislikes.

Waverley Lodge Home has 45 tastefully decorated bedrooms. We encourage our residents to personalise their rooms with items of furniture, photographs and memorabilia, we will also decorate the room in their preferred colour scheme prior to taking up residence so that it already feels like home. All rooms have TV aerial sockets, Wifi and wheelchair access and of course, nurse call systems in all rooms for the safety and wellbeing of all our residents.

Newcastle Care Home has 2 beautifully set dining rooms with a wide choice of delicious home cooked meals. Residents will always find something to their taste at meal times. Should a resident choose to eat in the comfort of their own room staff will happily ensure that they are accommodated. Family members and friends are always welcome into our home to join their loved ones over a lovely meal prepared on site by the team in our 5-Star kitchen. We also cater for celebrations and birthdays. Fresh snacks, fruit and refreshments are also available around the clock for our residents.
