Located in a leafy residential area in Thorne, Doncaster, Harry Priestley House provides residential care and support for up to 12 adults with learning disabilities.
We want you to feel right at home with us. Here at Harry Priestley House, you will have a spacious, fully furnished bedroom and a specialist team to support your care needs.

The Home's bedrooms are of varying sizes and on the ground floor there are large lounges for you to relax and socialise. There is also a dining room, kitchen, utility room and a picturesque garden, where you can spend time to enjoy the outdoors.

In addition, we offer a variety of support services for residents to engage in the local community and to take part in activities outside the Home.

Harry Priestley House is a residential home supporting 12 residents with learning disabilities.

There are two shifts during the day which are 7am-2pm and 2pm-9pm, and for both there is a Shift Leader plus five carers. Three of the staff from each shift provide funded one to one support to residents with complexed needs.

During the night, the Home is staffed by two waking night staff plus one night carer who provides one to one funded support to one resident.

Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care.

From the manager

“There is a real family atmosphere at Harry Priestley House, where friendships are formed and troubles shared. To see the residents living their best lives makes every day extremely special.”
