From the manager

“I have 10 years of experience in management positions in the care industry, and before Chandler Court I worked as Home Manager in a 56-bed service. Care UK has an excellent reputation nationwide. Their values of caring, passionate and teamwork are particularly important to me. As a Home Manager, I believe it’s important to be positive, approachable, knowledgeable and passionate about exceptional care. I lead by positive example and do my best to ensure residents in our care are safe and happy every day. I love the unpredictability of this role – no two days are ever the same. Interacting with the team and lovely residents and seeing them enjoy themselves makes me feel privileged to work at Chandler Court. I’m proud to make a positive difference to people’s lives. Managing a care home comes with many challenges, but the reward of knowing you have played a part in achieving a better quality of life for people is priceless. Outside of work, I’ve been a resident choreographer and performer for a charitable theatre group for almost 30 years. I perform in productions twice a year raising money for local charity. You might also see me attempting a challenge or two, from 26-mile hikes to 100 squats a day, to raise awareness and funding for vital charities.”
