Welcome to Bartley Green Lodge Residential Care Home in Birmingham - where we’re dedicated to going above and beyond.
Our experienced team offers residential, dementia and respite care where each resident is treated and cared for like a member of our family. Bartley Green Lodge offers a safe and stimulating environment filled with laughter and fun.
There is a real focus on personal and group activities catered to the interests of our residents.
Residents enjoy spending time with our Bartley Green Lodge kitten and Lady, the friendly Yorkshire Terrier who visits each day. Animal therapy is a very calming and enjoyable activity for residents, especially our dementia residents as it reminds them of pets they have owned.
We also are often visited by kittens and cats from Well Cat, a local shelter. Our residents take great pride and purpose in comforting these kittens until they find their forever home.
Local musicians are invited to play throughout the year. Thrilling residents with a range of songs from across the decades. Our team enjoys this just as much as the residents and you can often find them dressing up to dance the afternoon away. Music nights are a highlight for residential care residents who love to dance and sing along.
Some of the most exciting days at Bartley Green Lodge are when local primary students join us for activities. There is a real buzz about the place and our residents enjoy spending time baking, creating arts and crafts or gardening with the visitors.
However, not all of the entertaining activities at Bartley Green Lodge take place indoors. We find space in our busy social calendar for visits to garden centres, local shops and even schools.
Our goal is to make sure residents feel at home, and to ensure they have the ability to influence their care. That is why we hold regular relative and resident meetings, to gather feedback to ensure everyone receives the best care possible. So when you visit your loved one, you know you’re visiting their home.
