Help@Home
Since our inception, we have received enquires to provide,”non-personal” care services to the vulnerable population within Croydon. We listened to the needs and enquire and developed the Help@Home service. We understand that most vulnerable people can carry out most daily tasks like personal care, but need some support/ assistance with other tasks that may not be as easy to do. We find that care needs of the population tends to follow a normal distribution curve, ranging from those who need minimal care, or indeed no personal care and those with complex care requirements.

Help@Home is designed to meet the needs of people regardless of the levels of personal care (if any) is required. By carefully assessing the requirements, a tailor made and flexible package of services can be provided from a “pick & choose” menu of services. If there are additional services that may be required, this can be provided on an ad hoc basis or built into the regular programme.

As with the care and Support Service, we will still carry out an assessment and match the best worker for the tasks to be delivered. At the time of the assessment, we will assess (as far as possible) all equipment to be used as well as discuss the materials. All staff will receive the appropriate COSHH training. The level of staff provided will be of the same calibre as the Care and Support need. The staff will have the ability to recognise a range of conditions that could form an “early warning” system for further intervention. The staff will not carry out any tasks if they have identified potential risks to the service users or themselves. Decisions as such, will be carried out in conjunction with the registered Manager or designated personnel.
We are able to provide-
• Companionship
• Escorting (Social Events and activities, GP/Hospital appointments, shopping)
• Light domestic (general cleaning at low level, vacuuming etc)
• Laundry Services
• Shopping
• Tidying of the garden
• Assist with meal preparation
