Frethey House is set in a delightful rural location just to the west of Taunton, with two acres of beautiful gardens to explore, plus an in-house hair salon, relaxing lounges and a range of daily activities. Our home offers both residential care and nursing care, in an environment where residents enjoy can peace and quiet, as well as stunning countryside views.

We make the most of our location to get out and about in Somerset, visiting local attractions, enjoying a pub lunch or having tea in one of the cafes in Taunton. The gardens are a popular spot with residents on warmer days where green-fingered residents are welcome to help us keep everything looking good, or to simply sit on the terrace with a cup of tea and watch the visiting wildlife.

Our fees are all inclusive too, with your care and lifestyle costs capped on an annual one-price basis, meaning that unless your care needs change you’ll have peace of mind with no surprises.
