ACCOMMODATION
Dovehaven Residential Home provides a warm, friendly environment for all of our residents. Our care home is an attractive Victorian building and is fully converted to modern standards.

SERVICES
Dovehaven Residential Home offers facilities to ensure that residents are as comfortable as possible.

Our chefs serve a wide range of delicious and nutritious home cooked meals and visitors are welcome to join the residents for a meal in the dining room or the resident’s own room if they wish.

We also offer a regular, varied programme of activities, taking into account our residents hobbies and interests. Our home features a hairdressing salon, and a chiropodist, optician and minister are all available to visit.

PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
Our residents are respected as individuals and we do our best to cater for their every need. We recognise that the necessity of moving into a care home and requiring help with personal tasks can feel like a loss of independence. We therefore strive to support our residents to complete as many activities of daily living, as independently as possible.

The majority of our staff are NVQ qualified or training towards their NVQ and there are regular residents meetings to enable our residents to be involved in any decisions made about the activities and routine in the home.

STAFF
Our quality trained staff will be on hand to help support our residents in a manner that is both professional and unobtrusive, promoting independence as well as a sense of well being and security. Our philosophy states that attention to detail makes the difference and our staff are trained, as well as prepared, to go the extra mile. All clients will be treated as individuals and our focus will be on what they choose to do and how their care should be delivered.

From the manager

“Please call me at the home to find out more about the residential care we provide. I look forward to hearing from you.”

— Lynne Bradshaw
