Situated close to the town centre of Yate, Oaktree provides specialist nursing, dementia and residential care to the local residents of Gloucestershire. Run by a strong and passionate team, Oaktree has great reviews and a fantastic reputation in the local community.

Oaktree is a newly built, purpose designed care home, located just 12 miles away from the City centre of Bristol. Oaktree is close to the town centre of Yate, with a hairdressers, pub, takeaway, supermarket just a short walk away or accessible by the local bus route.

Oaktree has an excellent activities coordinator that works hard to provide activities as a core part of the quality care package offered. With activities varying from pet therapy, pub visits, coffee and lunch trips and entertainers, Oaktree always has lots for residents to engage with. Equally, activities are also tailored towards individual needs and wishes for those that enjoy activities on a more one-to one basis.

Accommodation is arranged over two floors offering 76 bedrooms that are able to be personalised to each resident’s wishes. Rooms come fully furnished, ready for residents to personalise and make them their own. Equally, the home encourages residents to bring their own furniture to make their room feel like a home-from home, should they wish to. The garden offers a covid-friendly garden pod, well-kept flower beds and patios and quiet spots for residents to enjoy their own company or enjoy an afternoon tea.

Oaktree has a passionate and enthusiastic team and has a reputable long-standing relationship with the wider community.

From the manager

““We are a caring team and we regularly receive good feedback about the care received from families. The team are very approachable, and we always approach our work with a smile. It has been a difficult period during the last couple years, but we’ve remained a strong, core team.””
