Dovehaven Grove provides accommodation for people who are living with dementia, who are 55 years or older and also a floor of the home is dedicated for those requiring residential care.
The home is situated next to some accessible woodland area & offers beautiful views of Withy Grove Park. Dovehaven Grove was refurbished in 2020 to the highest standard, there is a grand entrance to the home which was restored to maintain its original features. Off the main entrance is a library room which residents and relatives’ can access independently. The home has a hairdressing salon where people can make appointments with the hairdresser or can invite their own hairdresser to utilise the salon so they can maintain established services.
Dovehaven Grove can accommodate a maximum of 60 residents. There are 60 bedrooms, some of which have en-suite bathrooms and the larger bedrooms have the flexibility to provide a double bedroom whilst maintaining our maximum occupancy.
Dovehaven Grove recognises there may be occasions when family members want to remain with their loved ones, so the home offers a guest suite with bathroom facilities. The guest suite has a double sofa bed, fridge and toiletries, should they be required.
Other facilities within the home include a quiet lounge, to enable people a calm and relaxing space, a garden room and themed seating areas to support freedom of movement around the home.
Dovehaven Grove provides a range of bedroom accommodation. Where possible on admission, people will be offered a choice of bedroom size and location. This will be subject to availability and the consideration of people’s needs and safety.
The home is fully accessible. Garden areas at the home are accessible to wheelchair users and have been designed sensitively and in consideration of resident’s needs.
Our kitchen team provide a nutritional menu, snacks and refreshments, taking into consideration our residents tastes & any dietary requirements.
Dovehaven Grove has an activities coordinator supporting residents pursuing to take part in regular activities both in the home and trips out.
