Sherwood Court is located in Fulwood one of Preston's most stunning suburbs and is considered by many to be 'the home of choice' in and around the Preston area for dementia and nursing care.
Our warm, friendly home provides 24-hour nursing care along with expert care for people living with dementia in our Memory Lane Community. We have a highly qualified and well-motivated staff team, who feel passionately about helping people retain independence, dignity and choice. They focus on the individual needs of each resident, working with a tailored care plan for each person. By visiting our 'meet the team' tab on this website you can see a few words from members of our team regarding their role here;- what they do and why they enjoy it so much.
We take pride in the standards for the home generally, too, in areas like our cooking, our hospitality and organised activities for our residents.
Choosing a care home can prove to be a particularly daunting experience for all family members. At Sherwood Court we pride ourselves on the help and guidance we provide for family members as they navigate their way through the enquiry process. We ensure we signpost them to all possible agencies where support is available. But a simple cup of tea and a friendly ear can make all the difference - so why not give me a call today, or if you are passing pop in and we will pop the kettle on. We are sure that when you visit and you feel the warmth of our welcome you will realise what makes Sherwood Court so special.
Life at our home is composed of many key elements, not least of all, a dedicated team who strive to deliver high quality care, exciting activities and delicious food for the individuals we support. These services are enhanced by our excellent facilities, which serve to make residents’ time here as comfortable as possible.
