The Old Vicarage Care Home is located in a scenic part of the Dorset countryside and offers a combination of friendliness and professionalism in order to help adults with care needs to enjoy a comfortable and stimulating lifestyle.

While being ideal for long-term residential needs, the home also maintains a respite service and offers day care to the surrounding communities. Carers are committed to understanding personal needs and adhering to a tailored approach.

A number of activities are organised to support personal interests and physical health, and residents have access to information technology while enjoying home-cooked meals.

The temporary garden cabin-style structure is equipped with two entrance points, a Perspex screen to separate visitors from residents and an intercom to make communicating easy. The room is also equipped with heating, insulation, fire safety measures and nurse call buttons. To book a visit in the pod, please contact the home manager.

From the manager

““There is a really homely atmosphere at the home - everyone says so and you can feel it as soon as you are here. There’s always something going on and we’re a friendly team who put a lot of love and care into looking after our residents.””

— Jackie Leyland
